When 4g isn’t really 4g…

I hate it when I see advertisements for “4g”. We are no where near the speeds of what 4g is supposed to be yet, they get to call what we currently have “4g” as it is faster than 3g. Just because it is slightly faster does not make it 4g people! I wish I could sue for false advertisement but, I cannot because the people that define standards have accepted it as 4g-LTE which is for now dubbed 4g. So my question is, when 4g speeds are actually hit, what will it be called? 4g? If people think 4g-LTE is 4g and then you come out and say you have a new 4g, nobody is going to care because they are going to think it is the same thing as what they already have! You’ll have to skip to 5g, but that just sounds weird…
